In the northern part of the country you can witness the amazing Northern Lights in the winter and the Midnight Sun in summer.


Arrival in the airport of Oslo. Take the Airport Express train to the city.
Walk to the hotel located next to the station.
Oslo is the largest city in Norway and has been the official capital of the country since 1814. Oslo is beautifully situated at the bottom of the Oslo Fjord and surrounded by wooded hills. The city is an Eldorado for nature lovers. If you are in the center, you will never be far from any park.

At 10.00: Join the Oslo Discovery tour (5 hours)
Embark on this discovery tour and explore Oslo's “must see” attractions. Feel the cozy atmosphere in the city center, admire stunning views over the Oslo fjord from Holmenkollen Ski Jump, get in touch with the art of the most prolific Norwegian sculptor as you stroll through Vigeland Park encompassing more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron. On Bygdøy Peninsula you will enhance your Oslo experience by visiting 2 unique museums: the Fram Museum and the Viking Ship Museum.

Walk to the train station to start first part of the famous “Norway in a Nutshell excursion”.
At 08.25: Train from Oslo to Myrdal

At 13.27: Departure Myrdal on the famous Flamsbana train
Flåmsbana, known worldwide as one of the most spectacular train journeys in the world, was chosen as the best train journey in the world by Lonely Planet in 2014. The route on this incredible railway from the top of the mountain to the sea level in Flåm, next to the fjord, presents an altitude difference of almost 900 meters, with a gradient of 5.5% in almost 80% of the journey. One of the twenty tunnels of the Flåm train forms a spiral inside the mountain and the trip offers views that will leave you breathless on several occasions.
At 14.25: Arrival Flam and short walk to the hotel.
The beautiful village of Flåm is located just at the inner end of one arm of the deepest fjord and the second in length, Sognefjord, with 204 km in length and 1308 m in depth. Surrounded by rugged mountains, roaring waterfalls and narrow valleys, this area is a paradise for those looking for unique and spectacular experiences in nature.
In wintertime it may be possibile to join a cultural evening walk combined with a Viking dinner (not included).
Summertime offers a lot of activities such as Fjord Safari by RIB, Bike rental, E-car rental etc. (not included) You might want to add an extra night in Flam to have time for everything.

At 09.30 board a 2 hour cruise from Flam to Gudvangen where you will experience the great Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, two of Norway's most attractive fjords. The Nærøyfjord, a branch of the Sognefjord, has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list and is considered to be among the most scenic fjord areas on the planet. Its outstanding natural beauty is derived from its narrow and steep-sided crystalline rock walls that rises up to 1400 m straight from the fjord.

At 12.55: Arrival Voss
At 13.46: Train departure from Voss
At 14.57: Arrival Bergen and short walk to the hotel (600 m)

In the morning meet with your local guide for a 2-hours walking tour.
Bergen is unique, not least because of its fantastic location and world-famous surroundings.
7 magnificent mountains and beautiful fjords form the backdrop to an international but at the same time distinctively local atmosphere that makes an indelible impression on everyone who visits the city. Take a tour around the fish market and Bryggen Hanseatic wharf. Bryggen (wharf in Norwegian) consists of 14th
century hanseatic buildings. More than 60 buildings of the original wharf are still standing and today this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also one of the top sights in Norway.
Take the funicular to the top of Mount Floien for panoramic views of Bergen and surroundings.
